    Default Streaming TV/Movies... Roku/fire/google etc.....

Currently I have a Roku, and a subscription to amazon Prime and Netflix. I just learned last night about Infinity box but don't know much about it. I did a lot of research before purchasing a Roku over a firestick, google stick, etc. but never heard of the infinity box. It supposedly streams what ever TV/Movie you want. No schedules like cable TV, and not limited to netflix/hulu like a roku.

I am thinking of moving the Roku into our bedroom and going to try out an infinity, but need to know more. my question to the audience.....

What do you have for a streaming TV box/stick do you own and Why?

We have a Roku 3. It's got everything we need, and we can add channels as they become available. Have you taken a look at channels availableto you through Roku?

yeah, and a lot of them needed a subscription. I was told the infinity box is a free stream, no subscription and can watch just about anything. Right now we have to pay for Netflix and can only watch what is available on it, same with Amazon prime.

If I'm just watching Netflix, I use my Dish Hopper/Joeys since the app is built in. I use the native apps in our Samsung/Panasonic TVs and Blu-ray players for Amazon, and they can also connect to Netflix. The ability to play Amazon Prime content seems to be available on fewer devices.

If you want locals, AirTV is now an option integrating over-the-air HDTV with streaming content, but I don't see Amazon Prime listed as a source; https://www.airtv.net

Infinity Box looks something similar to what I have. Thorstream is the box I have and it runs Kodi. It comes preloaded with add-ons. Not sure what add-ons are included with Infinity box. There are a lot of "premium" channels but the company that makes the Thorstream boxes pays for those. And yes - essentially other people have the content stored somewhere and you would just be streaming it from their location.

Ask me anything as I've been using for months now.

You can add Kodi to your firestick...easy process.

You can but would have to pay for the "premium" add-ons. But Exodus is free and covers pretty much every TV show.

The infinity box is probably just something with android running the Kodi app. You can put Kodi on a firestick or fireTV (better performance than the stick). I have one running on a google nexus player and using Exodus, I can pretty much stream any movie or tv show I want at any time.

Yup. The only thing my box and probably the infinity Box does better are the premium channels. The premium sports apps works better than pro sports add on.
