New rules for nfa items - input on best way to do process
I've always done mine through llc but with the whole finger prints and picture stuff now, has anyone had any experience doing it? Do you have to do finger prints at a police station or are there other options? Just get the photo at Walgreens like a passport one? I can figure out a way to do it all but figured I'd get input from others if they found a streamlined process.
Passport photos can be done anywhere it's offered that has not changed. You could also remove everyone but yourself from the LLC, to avoid the extra paperwork / BGC on them.

If it's unfeasible to use DangerLee, you can Walgreens or do your own PP photo, then get prints at your local PD.
Some folks are doing their own prints. If you know what you're doing, you can probably get away with it.

I got no problem using a site sponsor that would be easier anyway, I'll just have to look at travel distance. It's only me on the lcc so it should be simple.
For what it's worth, I took a passport-ish photo against a white wall in my house, scaled it to 2" x 2", and then copied it a bunch of times. Now when I need a passport photo, I go to Target and print a single 4x6 for 37ยข A few cuts with the scissors and I have six passport photos and enough leftover change for a Snickers bar.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
Hell it would be cheaper to take a picture of my finger and cut copies for my finger print cards too. Time missed working is time not returned.

DangerLee is a one step process. The pictures are done there and trust submitted in one process, last I checked at least. I removed everyone but me from the trust to simplify the process and only have me checked.
I got my prints done at Denver finger printing downtown. 20 bucks and they archive forever. 5 bucks and they'll mail you cards if you need them in the future.
I went to Adams to do them and they don't have cards (I didn't have any either). Plus they still use ink. Kind of glad I got turned away from there. The digital option seems much more promising as it tells you how acceptable they are while taking them.
