What is your problem. Haven't built one but have bought plenty of parts.
No problem other than my impulse buys.... And the fact that I've never even handled one, let alone, built one.

I got mine from lurch, he knows his 1919s. It's lots of fun but not so simple to get working even when completely built. Good luck with your build. I'd love to have a 1919 day at some point
now that I think about it that's probably my 1919 in his avatar at this point
So I take it you bought a kit and now you want to build it? From what I hear it isn't to hard with the right tools. I suggest you roll over to the 1919a4.com and look around. There are guys over there that can give you plenty of pointers and even will let you borrow the couple of specific tools that are needed.
If you are ever down in the Elizabeth area I can show you around one and if it's an open weekend we can run out to the range and you can put some rounds through mine. Though if you do it may end up costing you a fortune in the end. They are that much fun.
No trouble at all, took me a minute to figure out how to get it to fire well. Between a bunch of reman 308 and learning to headspace it well I had some trouble at first. I had a bunch of garbage reman ammo that nothing liked not my scar or the 1919. Learning the rifle and getting the linking machine were the cure to all my issues.
Yeah, I got a kit and I'm waiting for my profile to be activated over at the 1919 forums. I'm a visual guy so once I get the kit in hand I can start piecing it together and figuring it out. I've hear they are pretty easy. Once you get the internals machined for semi then its just some riveting.
I'd love to take you guys up on your offer and play around with them. (Mainly take them apart and see how they work)
