I have a saker thing is heavier than I would like also get the asr mount for it as I had nothing but problems with my maad mount. If I could do it again I'm not sure I'd buy the saker. Good luck, either choice will still be a lot of fun to shoot!

I have two Omegas and have been happy with them and SCo customer service. I use them on my ARs and SCARs.
Hybrid. Full auto rated and Magnum calibers to .338 Lapua. 3oz heavier than an Omega. Not much difference especially if it's a bench only rifle. Whats the primary use of the can? I'm impatient and don't want to wait 8+ months for my can to be approved while deciding which ones I want, nor do I want to drop $4k on multiple suppressors.
It will see some use hunting mostly trips to the range this is more of a just because I want one purchase
I have a Saker and a Omega 30 for personal use and looking at the overall usefulness I prefer the Omega. It is not as big of a can, it is lighter, it is F/A rated and to me a more adaptable can to different uses. I use mine for hunting on my Rem 700 and it performs very well as well as using it on an M14. The ability to go from a direct thread to quick detach is a nice feature as well as the muzzle devices. Yes the break does work. To me, the only advantage to the Saker is the mounting sytem on it and being able to stash it under a hand guard. I don't believe it is worth the price difference for myself but I do like the can. I bought the Saker before I became a dealer and the Omega after I became one and brought a few in for stock. After playing with them and customer feedback and trying them out it became an easy buy for me!
