prayers for my father...

Got word a little while ago that my father was diagnosed with TIA (mini/transient stroke) this morning at his local hospital... he recovered, and asked for tests to be run that required him to be transferred to St. Vincent hospital in Portland, OR. (he lives in Oysterville, WA near the OR border)

right now I'm being kept in the loop by my stepmother who is following the ambulance during the Xfer- he is stable and coherent. If the situation worsens, I'll fly to Portland...

I hope everything works out for the best. I would agree if you think you should go you need to go. I just lost my grandfather 2 weeks ago, had to almost force my sister to fly here to see him and she was barely in time to see him. ( Not to try to worry you more). Everything can be replaced except for family

Sending good thoughts. Time is so important when reacting to strokes, hopefully there'll be a speedy and complete recovery. Stay hopeful.
