Should be in the WTF thread.

And, at 110 proof, you cannot call it beer. Not that it's bad, it just does not qualify.

I've had beer in the ~40% range and as much as your palette tells you its a spirit, it is in fact a beer by definition...now weather it meets our federal requirements to be recognized as a beer remains to be seen. I'm not sure if there's a limit as to how much water can be removed from the beer if any?

Can't reach near 110 proof without distillation - which makes it a spirit by definition.

Yeah you can...they brewed this in 2010 and it's been beaten to death since then, its been a while so I dont remember the details off the top of my head but the freezing technique they used isn't technically considered distilling, I'm just not 100% sure how the fed viewed it.

Either way, they found a hilarious way to keep their beer warm.

Can I call click bait? The first pic is a cute female a$$. Beer at 40% ABV doesn't jibe.

At $20k a bottle it better give me a happy ending and a happy beginning.

So it's the same principle as Applejack.

Whether you use freeze distillation or steam distillation or even vacuum distillation, it becomes a "spirit."
Distilled beer (fermented grain) becomes Whiskey when distilled.

    Good marketing ploy however.

Either way, there's no way in hell anybody would peg it as beer in a blind taster. No fizz, all bite.

Let's just say I won't be needing to worry about how to afford a bottle of this stuff. The dead squirrel thing is creepy, too. No thanks.
