I've truly tried to understand the flat earth claims and not just blow them off. I've even spent some time reading flat earth websites to see how they explain it. But each and every explaination I've ever read or that's been explained to me doesn't stand up to even a tiny bit of scrutiny.

I had a long discussion with a friend once who obviously spent a huge amount of time "educating" himself about flat earth. He believed it and could answer most of the gotcha type questions.

But what he couldn't explain is how all of the applied science that uses calculations that account for the spin of the earth, the curvature of the earth or gravity could be faked. He couldn't explain how every engineer, physicist, pilot, long distance shooter, etc etc etc was using fake math to do real things. And that's where the conversation ended.

I think anyone who at least heard of newtonian or classical/mechanical physics, they should excuse flat earth crap that sun, black holes and entire galaxies evolves around the earth.

I think high school physics does gravity experiment on earth and object, and undergrad does gravity experiment against 2 small objects.

I beg those people please do not travel outside of US and embarrass us.
