    Default Hippies attacking their own

So, it seems a group of people broke into several secure facilities a few days ago and shut off all of the natural gas to the city of Aspen.

I say a group of people because several facilities hit at the same time in what had to be an intentional and deliberate act. At one of the facilities the words ?Earth First ? were written on a pipe.

Reading some comments about the incident it seems there are quite a few residents who are mad at the company that supplies their community with natural gas making comments to how regardless of who caused the outage or why that they blame the gas company for the outage. At least there were a few who felt shutting off vital infrastructure to a city through a deliberate act is likely an act of domestic terrorism. The local sheriff is pretty much blowing the whole thing off as just an act of vandalism but I believe the FBI is getting involved now.

I do take some joy in the fact that a group of tree huggers intentionally screwed with a town full of tree huggers.

Could be a false flag attack so the city of Aspen reduces the access and controls the area.

I can understand the idea of "Hippies attacking hippies" but I think the authentic hippies were priced out of Aspen 30 years ago (at least). Folks who live there now don't even pretend.

Eh. Anyone who lives in the mountains is pretty much still a hippie- no matter how rich they are.
