I guess it just doesn't surprise me that there are those that believe in flat earth, and I say this because of a lady in my district that called the office about some contractors "running diesel engines that were damaging her trees in her front yard". Yeah, we had a construction project in front of her house and there were 3 trucks with their engines running the whole time, and she believed that her trees were being damaged because of this.
After I talked to her I realized I couldn't communicate on a low enough level to convince her otherwise, so I called the boss and let him try. I don't think he succeeded either.

I would have encouraged her to file a claim with her homeowners insurance.

OK good. I don't pay enough attention to media stars to know when they're serious or not, I just assume they are ALWAYS full of shit and that assumption has served me quite well.
