    I had one of my trucks with the tailgate down one morning. I'm pretty sure the hose clamp saved that expense.

    Anytime. I have a locking tailgate (mechanical/electrical) and still have a theft device on mine.

    Sucks we live in a world we worry about this. With the recent wind storms, I was awarded a small dent in my trailgate due to a falling tree branches. The tailgate skin was 530.00. All said and done with paint, bedliner, camera, mechanicals was over 3000.00. Lucky for me, the dent was so small that the repair bill was only 360.00.
