    I remember Wolfman Jack and the NBC "Midnight Special". Chuck Berrys "My Ding A Ling" was my favorite song for a long time. I was 13 when it came out and it was his only #1 single in the US.

    I think "Johnny B. Goode" was a more seminal work that marked a change in rock-in-roll but either way, the man deserved his legendary status.
