Pretty sure I suffer from the same disorder. Already had the money for the P10c set aside ..... and spent it already. It's the top of my list right now but the reality is (last I heard) it will be end of April at the earliest before they ship from the factory and I wouldn't be surprised if it was later then that. And to top that off I also hear there won't be any extra mags available right away. Kind of let the air out of my balloon so will probably just buy and sell a few things until it shows up.
.
You're such an enabler, mtnrider.
Have you been introduced to the pistol caliber carbine yet, Ray?

Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.
Anyone that thinks war is good is ignorant. Anyone that thinks war isn't needed is stupid.
Ray already shoots like that with a revolver.

I love the pistol caliber carbines. Bought my first two back around 1994 (Marlin Camp Carbines in 9mm and 45 ACP). Picked up one of the Ruger 9mm carbines about seven or eight years ago. Almost picked up one of the Scorpions on several occasions recently.
I'm sure some day in the near future I'll end up with one. They're just plain fun to shoot.
Oh, and darn you for giving me something else to think about. Lol.
I solved my similar disorder by jettisoning EVERYTHING that I don't use for real life, real world events. No "fun" guns, no "collection" guns, no "just in case" stack of 50 mags. Likelihood of use doesn't justify the time and energy wasted on amassing shit I will never use. Since then I've narrowed down to 1 SBR AR-15 that I actually take with me nearly everywhere I go, my Glock 17 that I do take everywhere I go and use at work, a backup pistol, and a 12ga shotgun. No more need for a safe, all mags are loaded and placed either in a plate carrier or in my EDC bag, vehicles, etc. It was quite the relief, and if anything made me 10x more proficient with what I really use. I've narrowed everything down to 3 calibers. The only thing I might do is build another AR identical in every way to my primary, just to have a redundant copy. The only that this makes me worry about, is having only one has forced me to handle that one everyday to move it from home to vehicle, to bag, etc., Sort of forces familiarity.
I'm gonna get blasted for saying that, but I used to be one of the guys that thought I needed a bolt gun for long range, an SBR, a 20" inch AR for intermediate ranges, a battle rifle, a pistol caliber carbine, etc, etc, etc. Too much BS. At a certain point it all just becomes comfort items and a "hobby", dangerous turf if you ask me.
I can see that being a good strategy and one that would definitely save me a bunch of money in the long run.
But of all of my hobbies, firearms are probably the cheapest.
I'm afraid if I scaled down or just stuck to what I already have on hand it would just free up time and money that would get funneled into one of my more expensive hobbies.
