Well...this is the only forum I am active on and it's because of the folks I've personally talked & dealt with here. As Ray mentioned, we've had some knuckle heads from time to time and there has only been one time where I snapped it off in someone's backside and rightfully so. At the end of the day, it's not easy to find a good group of like-minded guys in one spot. One of the main reason we have a good forum is because of the mods. They run a tight ship and do a heck of a job keeping it up.

Back when I first rusted the slide on my M&P (the first time), I posted a thread up on here, but I also did a search for people having similar issues on other sites. I found a Smith & Wesson forum, or it might have been an M&P forum, that had a thread similar to mine. The OP was asking about if anyone ever had any rust issues with their guns, because he was getting some rust. They called him a liar, flamed him a bit, closed the thread, AND banned him from the site. If the thread hadn't of been closed, I would have joined just to post pictures of a seriously rusted M&P slide. However I decided that I'd dodged a bullet and moved on. The people on this site treated me nicely and Arngstrom even offered to polish my slide for free if Smith & Wesson wouldn't do anything about the rust. There are a lot of good people on here.
Slide polish, flipper rub, oh sure, lots of good people here willing to lend a hand(y).
