Interested in getting into 3 Gun?


Todd Jarrett (more info below) will be holding a Pistol, 3 Gun and PCC competitive shooting training course at Ben Lomond Gun. The Pistol course will be June 29/30 (Fri/Sat), the 3 Gun course will be on 1 July and the PCC course is 2 July. I am in charge of the 3 Gun enrollment.

Per Todd Jarrett the Sunday 3 Gun Course will cover:

Shotgun:
1. Shot selection for all different knock down targets.
2. Chokes selection.
3. What types of components for your shotgun. Sights, Slings, Springs, Lifters, etc.
4. Slugs, Buck and Birdshot needed for matches
5. Slugs out to 100plus yds.
6. Loading techniques
7. Movement drills
8. Patterning for bird shot


Rifle:
1. Ammo selection (paper verses long range)
2. Position shooting
3. Rifle setup ( Barrels, comps, stocks, slings and scopes )
4. Barricades and props
5. Shooting on the move to gun pick ups

Pistol:

1. Correct gear for Outlaw, 3Gun Nation and USPSA.
2. Ammo and gun setup.
3. Loading for paper verse steel knock down.
4. Open and Limited
5. Shooting will be a part of the class out to 100yds.
6. Moving drills

Enrollment:

• If you are interested in the 3 Gun course the fee is $300 per shooter. This will be a first come first serve offer. Please reply to the this email saying that you would like to enroll in the 3 Gun course.
• I will start accepting payment 30 April and accept payments for the primaries through that week. If no payment or contact is made by Saturday, May 5th, I'll start moving down the standby list. More info on payment process to follow.
• If you pay but have to cancel, I'll help coordinate a replacement via those on the standby list but it will be up to you to coordinate with your replacement for reimbursement.
• Once we have a fully enrolled roster we can discuss as a class if we can come to a general consensus of any specific items we would want Todd to cover so we can let him know ahead of time.
• Round count would be similar to a Big Ben Match.

Todd is a solid shooter and a great teacher. I took a 3-4 day class from him many years ago in Louisiana and learned a ton.
