We see this over and over again. I've seen new gun companies take money fraudulently here just on the front range at least three times. Could have been more. It all blends after a while.

Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.
Anyone that thinks war is good is ignorant. Anyone that thinks war isn't needed is stupid.
Seldom does it turn out well when a company wants money up front for a product that will be delivered later. Most of the paintball forums have quit allowing it unless you are vetted by the mods.
If you want peace, prepare for war.
Matt was a talented shooter and a shitty businessman.

I think I ran into him in the early days out in California. Shame to see that.
Sayonara
Had dinner with him at Nationals back in the '90s.
But my clearest memory is passing him while he was pulled over for speeding one morning on the way to the Area 1 chapionship at the Custer Sportsman Club in Washington. I always wondered what the cop thought of hissticker that was on the rear driver's side window.
...and as long as I'm thinking about that match, another memory from the evening before the match (when the stages were open for walkthrough): The sound of drills removing magazine capacity-reducing rivets coming from all the trailers with Canadian license plates. I'm not kidding.

I am not surprised. That article is only the tip of the iceberg concerning his shady business practices. He has been involved in shifty business adventures for as long as I have been involved in the practical shooting sports.
Wow. Glad I didn't preorder the shotgun he was building. He initially advertised a 30-60 day wait and over a year later, nobody had a shotgun.
Sticks and stones may break bones but hollow points expand on impact.

Article did not mention anything about any customers that received firearms. Infrastructure purchases etc. But from what you all have stated it sounds like he just pocketed the money or spent it somewhere else. We all know how expensive ammo has gotten.
Armageddon was yesterday, today we have a real problem.
