Default looking for deep conceal carry options

I've started a new gig where I rive passengers around in a sprinter type van. Dress attire is slacks, white shirt and short vest. I'm looking for ideas on options to carry a shield or possibly a Glock 42. Most of the time I's sitting on my arse driving. I've never tried an ankle holster, or a compression type shirt but looking for opinions from those that have as well as any other ideas you may have. Mounting the weapon in the vehicle is not an option .
    Thanks in advance,
    Brett

Any deep concealment is going to increase the time to get to it...

but if deep concealment is needed to avoid detection, I suggest getting it into your crotch... I've used a smart carry before... anyone asking if your packing is asking for a sexual harassment case.

If you will be sitting in a car a lot, ankle may be your most comfortable and accessible bet. I've been known to ankle carry exclusively on long road trips, with an OWB on the belt to transition to if we are out of the car for an extended period of time. Call me crazy, but I like options.

Definately good points- but I never opted for ankle carry in those situations because when I tried it out, I could get a pant leg hung up on it... it's more accessible but (at least in my case) at the expense of more likely to be detected.

I wasn't driving in a car, but was sitting at a desk.... was always able to get it comfortable- but you're going to have a real hard time getting to it unless you stand up (thru the zipper is an option- did some drills with that... could draw attention when you're trying to get to it, tho... you could always claim you have crabs, lol)

If you were willing to sacrifice firepower, something like this disappears in just about any sort of pocket.

my p238 fits in an suede iPod case and disappears in my front pants pocket.

Or if the vest is yours you could try sewing in a pocket Inside the weak side flap

anf I am a skinny 32x36 pant so me hiding stuff is hard

I’m a big fan of cross draw holsters when seated in a car. OWB high ride belt holsters or shoulder holsters would be my choice.
