Hail went through the roof of Colorado Mills mall too. Major interior flooding as a result I guess.

My Trusty 99 Toyota got trashed. If I call the adjuster, this will be my 3rd comprehensive in 2 years. I don't know I should file a claim or not. Car is probably worth less than $1500.

Yep, 5 damaged cars on my lot. Roof unknown yet. Neighbors lost a ton of vinyl siding.

Will call state farm tomorrow and get on the list.

Body shops were scheduled 3 months out before the storm.

6th and Wads could have been anywhere from marble to tennis ball. I was heading north on wads as it was happening. at 6th it was mixed. When I got to 32nd, it was golf ball to tennis ball and my work van took a beating. As I rolled north it was heavier volume, but more pea and marble sized.

So what method do the insurance companies utilize to verify if your home was in the path of a hail storm other than everyone and their mother calling in a claim..

Do they utilize the weather radar data to validate a claim?

Yes, they use that data, but if you file a claim, they'll come look regardless of if you were or not. There are no pre-qualifications to file a claim.

For what it's worth, I've yet to see a damaged solar panel. I know it happens, but I've yet to see it. I've seen exactly one dented satellite dish, and plenty of damaged skylights. Solar panels are very tough for being large panes of glass.
