I had not found the time to get you out to look at my roof from my questions a number of months ago Irving, looks like this storm makes a third part inspection moot however. If this storm doesn't deserve a claim than nothing would.

Upon inspection will they need to look internally as well (peek in the attic for leaks, verify if the repair will need new plywood sheeting or not based on code, etc)... or will the inspection likely be 100% external?

On a secondary tangent could the same adjuster for my company also do the vehicles or are homeowners and auto going to be two completely different paths.

Auto and home owners are different policies. There aren't many multi-line adjusters left anymore so it will probably be two separate people. However, if both are covered by the same company, it's worth checking to see if your policy will combine deductibles. It's not common, but some companies will drop the smaller deductible if the same event damaged both home and cars.

An adjuster would like to snap a picture of the decking during their inspection if they can, but it's not a deal breaker if you can't be at home. Do you have wood shake shingles on the roof at all?

Hail as large as you are showing you are probably pretty safe to turn in a claim, especially if your roof was older.

No, I believe I have sheet plywood over the original spaced decking and only one layer of shingles. One neighbor however has a couple of layers of asphalt over his original wood shingles. I am sure that will add to his rear off prices.

My truck, a brand new Dodge, was parked in Wheat Ridge. I got hood, roof and bed dents but glass survived. Everyone parked around me got the dents plus broken windows. I guess I got off easy sorta.

I was out at BLGC today, didn't even rain there. Sure looked nasty everywhere else though. Don't think it was bad here in Parker, but I wasn't here. Didn't see any damages when I got home.

Man, if my truck got all fucked up I'd be pissssed.....

I'll take some pictures when I get home from work. I have a flat old rubber roof. It looks like asteroids pelted the moon. I need to trough some tarps up there before the next round of rain. Hope the landlord has insurance.

After a few of the storms and after 4 months of crap with USAA I was in line to have the vinyl siding replaced. After some negotiation I had all the siding tore off and smart siding put up. They are almost done with it. The chance of hail and wind damage down the road got me to upgrade.

solar appears to have survived. Filed all my claims with insurance. We'll see what happens. Camper took the worst of it and I'm not even sure I have it insured for that kinda of damage. Doesn't appear that the camper roof will leak, no tears, sure looks bad though.

I try to answer what I can based on my experience. I certainly don't know everything though, so please make sure you are checking directly with your agent or claims adjuster. Every company does things differently.
