I was just in Windsor today. Wish that I would have seen this sooner.

If anyone's going that way, pm me. Been there a few times, nice guy with a few former Liberty arms (ft fun) working there.
The gun inventory is sparse, which i have no issue with. Who want's $20K of inventory on the shelf when guns are not moving. The guns on hand are comparably priced with other stores in the area, also carrying some higher end long guns.Their P&A stock is getting there, with some requested "items" . I'm waiting for his rifle classes to start.

Stopped by yesterday, pretty anemic inventory and the salesmen, Ed I believe, offered to "order that" for me about a dozen times. I want now, now, now and you have to order something, I can just do that myself off the internet and save some tax and gas. I like that they are veteran owned, but if all they can offer is the ability to order online just like I can, I'll pass.

Almost (ok all) gun stores in todays extremely slow buying time are keeping minimal inventory on hand. Why keep $1-200K of parts paid out of pocket, when I can order on line ?

There's not 1 gun store in CO, or even down in AZ, that has every rack filled.

Not to mention a store might stock damn near every gun on the market and some guy's gonna come in, take a mental inventory, and then ask for something not on the shelf/rack. If you've ever owned a store you'd know why keeping inventory is such an expensive PITA.

Point taken, but I also feel like it's almost a waste of time to start a small/tiny gun store nowadays and only have 5k in inventory. Like I said, I was looking for a few items, none of which they had, and the salesmen offered to order them for me every time. With online monsters out there now like CDNN or Palmetto State, I just think it's a waste of time and resources to try to compete when you're just going to close the doors in a few months and put people out of work.

Small shops only need to stay afloat until 2020 then business will likely pick back up.

Great, shop on line and avoid bringing your gun store drama here.
