    Default DPMS LR-308 Build

I am building a DMPS LR-308 lower with an Aero Upper. I am planning on keeping my 18" heavy DPMS barrel but have purchased a Magpul PRS stock, a 15" UTG free float hand guard and a Hogue grip. Basically its all in pieces at the moment although I plan on installing the barrel and hand guard onto the new upper this weekend. (Thanks to all that replied on my questions about that)

My minor dilemma at the moment is buffer tubes, springs and buffers. (I have a collapsible Magpul MOE Carbine Stock attached to my lower at the moment that has to go for the PRS.) The MOE buffer tube will not work of course so I am not sure what to get. I think I need a standard length buffer tube and spring, but what about the buffer itself? Can I use the one I have? I could use recommendations on tubes, springs and buffers if I need one.

If anyone is interested, I would trade my Magpul MOE stock (like new), tube, spring and buffer for the tube, spring and buffer I need.

    Thanks

You will need the standard rifle buffer tube. Then an ar10 rifle length buffer and spring. The buffer is shorter than an ar15 rifle buffer and the spring is heavier.

Ok thanks. I have a short buffer, still need the tube and spring I guess.
