Word is the pardon isn't legal as Hick failed to provide the legislatively mandated 2 week notification to the DA's office & judge.



But then again, when did laws stop a Dem from getting what they want? The pardon will stand.

Interesting that the DA that needed to be notified is a Republican gubernatorial prospect.
This has the potential to get interdasting.

Hick certainly does look like a cheap opportunist for anyone paying attention. It's worth reading the whole article and Brauchler's argument that Hick is violating the law. That another Dem running for attorney general thinks violating state law is irrelevant is very revealing, and damning.

For liberals, the laws are really more guidelines. It's OK for them to not always follow them.

More than that. Liberals also believe in the rule of law. But they believe that laws are living things that evolve and change with the feelings of the moment. That way they came use the law against someone that disagrees with them or otherwise makes them feel bad. They can interpret a law however they want whenever they want. That way the can use them or ignore them to their best advantage.
