    Default Help ID'ing AK Magazines

Not for sale. I am trying to find out the country of origin of these AK magazines because my AK knowledge is underwhelming.

I’m pretty sure you have more than 1 country of origin in there. Any stampings on any of them? Also close ups of followers and baseplate of each mag would probably be beneficial. As will close ups of the spine and entire upper section (front welds, side flat area, and locking lugs). Some site had a great resource for this with good pics, but I can’t find it now. I was thinking maybe on theAKforum.net, but they changed the site up since I was there last and I can’t find it...

I?m guessing they are from a communist or former communist country.

If you really need to know, I suggest you ask Rob @ Bowers. He is more likely to know the obscure origin more than anyone else I can think of.

    The illegal kind.

They're modified to only hold 14rds, they just look illegal to Coloradans who know how to obey their elected officials.
