So I'm sitting here, board out of my mind having to watch the voice with my wife. One of my 2 savage model 12's is shot out, and was wondering what you guys think a good change out would be. Looking at getting a criterion barrel from northland shooter supply. I was thunking a 6mm br or another 250 in a fast twist for 80gr bergers. 6xc came to mind also, but the more I look at it, nah. 6.5x47 would be another one. This gun will be used for punching holes in yotes/poodles, and paper...
The nice thing when running 2x 250's on a dog town is once a barrel gets warm, swap out to the other gun...rinse and repeat till no more targets are moving.
Also, already have a 243, but would entertain another one...
