Shooting a Garand is a boat load of fun, it always makes me smile. Big boom but soft shooting. They are amazing machines. Every red-blooded American male oughta have one.

I'm one of the younger shooters and I love my Garand. Took an antelope with it as well.

I have one that I don't get to shoot as much as I'd like. It's a four digit serial number and one of the first 5,000 ever made. It's probably the shiny star in my collection.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I also own a couple Garands but am now looking for a third one so I'll be able to STACK them like we did in basic back in the mid 1950's.

Shooting a Garand is like riding a Panhead......its got soul baby....
Attempting to change human behavior by regulating a mechanical device is an exercise in futility, ignorance and most importantly, arrogance.

At one time I had eleven M1s. My favorite rifle to shoot in competition or hunting. Since my eyes have been giving me trouble I scout scoped one.
