I know a guy that used Tannerite, mixed with pink chalk, to announce that his wife was having a baby girl! It was done quite safely, and the coolest part was his young son was the one who got to pull the trigger and then 'see' the pink shower explosion and learn that he was going to be a big brother! All the family gathered around watching the show, it was way cool...

As to the dude in the video, well, sometimes you get to live another day...

Definitely NOT just tannerite... at the very least, the oil in the refrigeration system ignited, but given the volume of black smoke I'd say he added gasoline or the like (in another container inside the fridge, most likely)

Explains how other idiots light the forest on fire with "tannerite"... they add stupid just like this guy.

Tannerite with a bundle of fire wood on top (store bought shrink wrapped stuff) proved to be a barrel of laughs. Launched the logs WAY into space. Some we only found kindling.

Couple of thoughts on this.

It's videos like this that give the gun control morons a podium. It is the misuse of products like tannerite that get people hurt/killed (which it has) and then forces the hand of the BATFE to ban it from public access. That tool FPS Russia posted a video where he shot a car at fairly close range packed with explosive compound and almost got himself taken out by a car door. It's only a matter of time before tannerite becomes regulated and removed off of shelves, all thanks to jackasses like the one in this video.

I agree that's what may happen, but I don't agree with that policy.... we shouldn't protect morons from themselves. Taking natural selection out of the equation is how we end up with Idiocracy

The other possibility is that the manufacturers/resellers will be sued out of existence.
