    Default Colorado Road Rage

This has some pretty harsh language, so don't open this up if your in a company board of directors meeting.

So so here is the FB post:

So Brandon Vega and I thought it was the perfect day to go hiking up off of Old Stage road when this asshole started riding Brandon's ass up the narrow dirt road. Then when we parked he proceeded to assault him and say it was our fault. Road rage at it's finest ladies and gentlemen. He only walked away with a bloody nose and fat lip because he refused to fight over something so stupid.
EDIT: He said his name was Chad Huntsinger, if anyone knows him please tag him, thank you.

So, what kind of force can you reasonably use?

Now some of you have been up Old Stage Road, and it is no peach to go up, and where this guy parked was on the lookout. He might have been able to back up, but he sure could not go forward. I seen some mistakes made on the driver of the blue Subaru as well.

I saw this pop up on FB yesterday and couldn't find it again. My question is why wasn't the police contacted to investigate further?

These days I try not to assume the story when recording only starts late in the situation.

    For those who don't Facebook

She left out the part where the guy tried to pass Brandon and Brandon sped up to cut him off on the narrow road.
Not trying to justify slapping the guy, but the little prick seemed overdue for an ass-whooping.
Brandon may also want to find another girl before this one gets him killed.

She puts down her open beer before getting out of the car.

I'm more irritated by the title, "combat vet road rages against guy and his girl."

Well, he isn't a combat vet and was booted for DUI and drugs.

Good reminder to mind your own business and not escalate a potential road rage or other situation. If someone is tail gating you, continue to follow the traffic laws or proceed at a pace comfortable for you when out on dirt roads. Let the hero behind you pass when they can and leave it at that. No reason to cut them off when they try to go around or box them in or slow way down to prove a point. Let them be their own hero and pass to win whatever race they think they are in.

I agree. Let someone else slide off those steep passes. Seen it plenty of times due to speeding.

So if you were the person in the car and wasn't a dickhead on the way up, how would you handled the situation?

    1) I wouldn't roll my window down but about an inch.

    2) I would have been more apologetic to settle it down, like " it was so dusty I didn't see you. My mistake, were you injured and everyone in your vehicle ok?"

Aftermath if I was this guy.

    1) new dog. Surprisingly enough, very few breeds will protect in confrontation. I was watching videos of people breaking into homes and the dogs not doing anything. Some on the other hand....

    2) new woman. I hope They realize that women can and do get punched all the time. Seen it several times myself. Not going into details if I was involved.

    3) grown up
