Default Flint Michigan Cop stabbed in possible terror attack

The FBI is investigating the stabbing of a police officer at Flint, Michigan's Bishop Airport as a 'possible act of terror,' according to reports.
A Canadian man yelling 'Allahu Akbar' repeatedly stabbed the officer including in the neck at the airport on Wednesday morning, witnesses told NBC News.
The saying means 'God is great' in Arabic, and is often shouted by Islamic terrorists before attacks or suicide bombings.
The police officer involved in the incident has been identified as Lieutenant Jeff Neville, who is retired from the Genesee County Sheriff's Department. Sheriff Robert Pickell told WJRT that Neville was an 'amazing deputy'. He has reportedly worked as an officer at the airport since 2001.
Neville was at his post at the top of a set of escalators at the airport Wednesday morning when he was attacked from behind with a knife similar to a Bowie knife, WJRT reports.
The officer was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but his condition has since improved to stable after coming out of surgery.
Police say a suspect has been taken into custody and is being question. They have not released his name.

Dear god, that's awful. Clearly security measures weren't up to snuff.

I hope they get creative with the interrogation. I'm glad the officer is going to be okay.

Until you get to the security checkpoint there really isn't any security at an airport. I imagine I could drive up to DIA, park, go inside and wander around all I wanted with a weapon concealed on my person and nobody would know.

You know, I didn't even think about that. You're right!

You might be the first female who ever admitted I was right about something.

I'm waiting for these whack jobs to start going into busy airports, get in line for the security checkpoint with a hundred people, and detonate something.

This is also legal with a CHP.

I've seen these guys there... once last year at DIA when we flew in April, and then again this year in January. They mill around the security line, but I didn't see them take the dogs through the actual line, just at the area outside the ropes and they walked between the check-in and screeners.

Airports are awful places, and I feel like there isn't a whole lot TSA can do with a violent/unruly party before PD arrives. I've been at DIA where I didn't see any police near the security lines... but then again, I've been there when there were several milling around between the security area and the escalators to the trains.

Yes, the first thing I do after getting my bags from the luggage carousel is to find a restroom stall, retrieve, load and holster my carry piece before leaving the airport.

Another coward from the religion of murder. They even bung their goats, women and children from behind.
