    They killed all my links. I don't have the $ to pay them and wouldn't even if I did. I think I have used them since...I don't know...maby the 90s. Punk move on their part.

    My PB worked until today. No more worky. Too many popups on there these days any ways, so it was time to move on. I'm trying flikr for now.

    With this recent move, I suspect Photobucket will be out of business before to long.

    Wow. I posted instructional pics on a forum over 10 years ago...and those are now toast. I couldn't begin to re-do all of the linked images I've done over the years...and I'm not about to pay their $400 extortion charge. I liked one of the comments over on The Register;

    Anyone else surprised #photobucket isn't offering Bitcoin as the only method of payment?

    I get that hosting stuff isn't free, but Photobucket has always been ad heavy to support itself. Now I cound understand charging a little for a service, but to suddenly break links without warning and expect $400 a year from someone that is storing their smileys is out of line. If they stick with this line, I hope they do fail.

    A few years ago PB "upgraded" their site. In doing so they basically locked me out. They would not let me log on, and any communication was a joke. They would not answer emails etc.

    I lost YEARS of pics that I had hosted on there, then the flood we had in the canyon destroyed the original disks.

    I understand it was free, and I would have paid them to keep my pics, but not the outrageous price they are asking now.

    After what they did to me, I would NOT use them IF THEY PAID ME!!!

    Put in the right email?

    I just logged into PB for the first time in probably 3 years. "Forgot password". Emailed. Reset. Downloaded my 73 items.

    Congrats to you guys that got your stuff out of Photobucket. Their site is so buried in ads from unauthenticated sources right now, I can't even make it into my library.
