I spent three years there during the early 80's when anti-nuke protesting was heavy and the RAF was still targeting (bombing) American, NATO, and German personnel and installaitons - fucking chickenshot cowards. Killed 34 people in 28 years.

The Polizei did not fuck around then, and I don't think they've softened much since.

It is more than just that. They are protesting against, and demanding the end of, the very system that allows them to do minimal or no work, and still enjoy a comfortable life, well fed, carrying a beer, all while having the opportunity to spend an afternoon whooping it up with yer buds throwing bricks at the cops. Makes a lot of sense to protest against the very thing that supports your lifestyle. Lets change it so you pussants have to work three menial jobs just to eat, then you wont have time to protest how bad it really is.
