Minneapolis Police shoot and kill woman who called to complain about potential assault

So a blonde, white woman calls the police, and is standing next to the driver's door of the police car talking to the officer that's driving, and an officer named Mohamed Noor shoots her through the car door. Oh, by the way, he conveniently didn't bother to have his body cam on.

This one is a puzzle. What I found wild is neither of the to officers had much time on the job. Shooting across your partner, through glass is gonna be tough to explain.

Defiantly a weird one. Luckily for us not only were the body cams not on, but the car dash cam was also turned off (audio could of been useful). From what I read and all of this is unconfirmed right now is that he didn't shoot her through the window of the door, but the door itself as she was apparently talking to the officer in the other seat. Maybe a ND, but why would you have your weapon out in that situation anyways unless something crazy is going on.

When people they don't know approach their car door, Officers often remove their guns from holsters in case a fight occurs, as sitting in a car is a bad place to draw a firearm.

I realize that the door in the video says "ballistic panel" and he is contacting a known gang member.

I'm merely pointing out a possibility on the reason a gun was out and not making any assumptions about the shooting itself. I am very much hoping it is not a bad shoot or a reaction due an Islam insult. That will not be good for the PD or officers either way.

No body cams while responding to a possible assault in an alley? At midnight? No dash cam? Shooting the 911 caller? Through the car door? Across his partner's lap?
