Boulder attracted "artists"...No, that's all I'm saying. They had a multi-colored dildo tree at the city library, but couldn't display the US flag, because it might offend somebody. Yep, that's all I'm sayin'.

Not surprised about the dildo tree, but I am pretty sure they raise the flag in front of library everyday. I will check tomorrow morning...

How about on campus? The campus is a .gov entity and should also fly the colors of our nation. If our flag offends folks they should consider going to any other nation (except maybe Canada as their liberalism is turning them into pussies) and ask them not to fly their national flag. In most other nations that would get you expelled quickly.

What is so special about these types? Why do they get so much free money for producing stuff that offer little value to society? If their products were in demand, wouldn't they be able to make a living?

If this is happening in your neighborhood, and you anticipate selling in the next 20 years, pat yourself on the back, it adds value and you chose wisely.

SoHo/10012 (South of Houston for the philistines that don't know what it refers to in NY) was a dump until the 'art' crowd moved in and made it the hippest, and now most costly zip code in NYC. The same could be said for just about any trendy neighborhood in any major city in the world.

As to artists making a living, be careful who you criticize, some commercial artists live in far more costly homes and make far more than those complaining about them...

Not sure my area needs these to increase property values. Newish suburb, low vacancies, and already sky rocketing property values.

Lone tree spent a lot of unnecessary money this weekend. Shut down Lincoln to roll in a pedestrian bridge from Schwab to nowhere. How they justify these bridges is beyond me. Little to no pedestrian traffic in the area.

Drove under that bridge on the way home today. It's not very high. How soon before a truck/crane runs into it?
