So a few of us have been talking RC (Remote Controlled) vehicles for the last couple days on the PWT thread and it was suggested that's we make a thread and I've to decided to make that pipe dream a reality



I've been flying RC Planes since I was about 6 off and on with my grandfather. Before he passed I was told to come pickup my Sh*t (94 year old Texan telling me to clean out his garage). Ever since he passed for about a year now I've been fixing and repairing his fleet and mine. Got 5 planes RtF and working on the 6th when I find the motivation.

Currently flight ready is:
J3 running a .25 efite
large superfly using a 450 motor
smaller Superfly using a .10 motor that I'm itching to fly. (Power plant is designed for 7-10lb planes and this weighs in at 14.7 oz.
Superbee 3 ch to train my buddies kids on (krusty the blow theme was inspired by my grandfathers color scheme).

As far as projects go I have about 10-12 airframes that need to be repaired / built. I fly Wet and Electric btw so if anyone needs any nitro motors hit me up.

Aside from planes I've flown Helis (not that good) and quadcopters (which I love). I've done nitro cars, trucks and electric cars and rock crawlers and rock racers.


So who else is into RC and wants to gab shop?

Btw anyone here get their sUAS (commercial remote / drone pilot cert) certification yet (that already doesn't have a part 61)?
