I've always liked Axial, I've had 2 and never had any issues. I'd say whatever your looking at check the availability of aluminum after market parts. I'd say $450-500 for a decent RTR (Ready to Run). If you go kit it's will be double but you'll have better TXRX most of the time. The biggest killer is all the stuff you have to buy to start like charger, balancer, TX/RX (if you don't go RTR), Servos, esc and kit.

I did look at a bunch of stuff online today, and there's a lot out there for sure. Can my heli control run other RC, or is it specific to the product? Yeah, I'm real green when it comes to this stuff...and I have no idea what TXRX means.....transmit/receive?
