One of the security guys came by and said it was a mis-fire......don't think the guy who got shot would agree. We had to explain to him the difference between a mis-fire and an accidental/negligent discharge. Btw, this was not one of the security folks we see there at every show. Guy must have escaped from the mall.
To be honest this doesn't surprise me in the least. Use to work the tanner and crossroads with a crappy shop a long time ago (B&D) and use to pray I didn't get shot by someone else's stupidity in there.

About 4-5 years ago a young guy got shot in the stomach I think, about 3 aisles down from my tables at one of the last Tanner shows I set up at.
I was told at the show it was self inflicted, shot himself in the leg. Lots of blood on the floor and lots of cops running around. Sounded like the guy was going to be mostly ok.
This is why I don't go to gun shows anymore. How hard is it to keep your shit unloaded.
