Solar Eclipse

The Solar Eclipse is on August 21. Parts of Wyoming and Nebraska will be in the path of the total eclipse. Is anyone going? any interesting plans or ideas?

We're going to try to see it in Alliance, Neb.

The path of total eclipse is about 175 miles south of us. It'll be near total here, but not quite. I'm working during the day so I'll definitely have a chance to see it assuming the sky is clear...which it most likely will be. Should be cool.

I'm heading up to Casper to see it and hopefully get some cool photos/video.

We have family going up to WY. They have a friend with property in the path. I'll be watching on TV and the Interwebs.

If one thinks any north bound roadway will not be crowded. By all means sleep in. We're going up the day before, hopefully get some coyote plinking in.

I was thinking about it, but 2 star hotels in the area are charging $1200+ for the night. I'll probably just get up early and bring some energy drinks with.
