Nice. Sister in law has a place in Bayard.

Can't wait for the Mexican food in Scottsbluff.

We're suppose to plink some fur bearing critters on private land.

    Which place you suggest.

We may or may not do the same.

If you mean Scottsbluff the places I like are Rosita's (beef panchos) Taco Town (combination platter w/ taco fried light) Taco De Oro (also combo platter) & El Charrito (combo platter or enchilada plate) are the places I like. Probably in that order. All are great. Authentic Mexican food joints started by migrant workers who moved to ScoBlo to work the fields & stuck around. When I tell people that some of the best Mexican food I've had in the world is in Scottsbluff NE they look at me like I just kicked their dog. I have yet to take someone back & have them disagree with me after trying for themselves though.

That makes sense. I have been known to share with people that the worst Mexican food I've ever had was in Ensenada, Mexico. Unlike real estate, location is not the most important factor in food.

Truth! Had some great Mexican food when I was in Brunswick Georgia a couple years ago, can't for the life of me remember the name, but the Coronas were really cold too.

I guess I will drive North on I-25 in the afternoon and wave to all the people parked on I-25 South coming back to the Metro. My dislike for crowds and traffic jams is greater than my desire to see the eclipse.

Officials Warn Consumers Of Counterfeit Tickets Ahead Of Solar Eclipse
WASHINGTON—Saying the agency has already detected numerous instances of the fraudulent activity, the Federal Trade Commission warned consumers Friday to watch out for counterfeit tickets being sold to the upcoming solar eclipse. “We advise people to be on the lookout for unauthorized agents selling fake paper and/or electronic tickets to the total solar eclipse on August 21,” said Thomas Pahl, acting director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, explaining that an estimated 5,000 phony tickets to the astronomical phenomenon have already been sold through outlets such as Craigslist and eBay, with prices ranging from $25 for general admission passes to thousands of dollars for bogus “all-access” VIP packages. “Unfortunately, this kind of scam isn’t uncommon with must-see events like this one. While we’re doing our best to crack down on these sham vendors, we want to remind everyone that caution is always the first line of defense. None of these tickets will be honored, and no refunds will be given.” Pahl went on to remind consumers that official eclipse tickets can be purchased exclusively through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com/eclipse.

but most of these towns in Wyoming are TINY. Even a small upsurge in weekend traffic buries them

and a bunch of Denver assholes coming for the day?

Think of the costs that will be incurred from all the trash that low class people will leave behind....roadside bathroom activity, the trash that inconsiderate people leave behind them, etc. etc. I'll bet many local folks are significantly pissed off when the whole deal is over with. Yeah, some small businesses will gain some profit, but the mess afterwards will leave an equal impact for sure.
