Default Recommendations for teen daughter: where to take her driver's license test?

This is for Colorado Springs area, forgot to put that in the title!

My daughter is almost finished with all the pre-reqs for her road test, so I'm looking for suggestions on where to have her take her road test for her driver's license?

Good places? Places to avoid? Stick with DMV or one of the 'pay-to-test' driving 'schools'?

Again, this is just for her road test to get her license.

    Thx!

We used Drive Safe for our daughter: https://www.drivesafecolorado.com/ The testing was included with the classes and her driving instruction. She did most of her driving with me as I wanted her to learn on a standard transmission. By the time she tested, there were no surprises and she drove well enough on a five speed manual that the little drive in an automatic was not much of a challenge.

I'm sorry to say they don't list any locations in the Springs. I believe MasterDrive is one of the bigger driving school providers in the Springs.

Getting your license is only a license to learn. If all she needs is the test, the DMV location nearest you is probably just fine. See if you can't follow one of their cars out for their test loop and then have your daughter pre-drive it with you a few times so that she knows what to expect. I did that with both of my sons and they had no problems at all with their tests. We used Driver's Ed in a Box with both of them: http://driveredinabox.com/home/ Lots of record keeping but since we were home schooling at the time it was just a part of their weekly routine.

Good luck and I pray for many years of safe driving for your daughter and your whole family.

    Story time:
My daughter took her test in Kiowa using the streets of town and almost ran over a pedestrian, who was not in a cross walk.
Needless to say, she had to retest after a waiting period.
I took my last test (CDL Class A) at the school I attended and found it less stressful. I don't think CO DMV administers the driving test for CDL anymore, so the school was it.
I could watch the instructor's face when performing the parking portion and tell how I was doing.
Might call and see if the local schools will do only the test, or if she needs to attend - maybe a quick course is available.
