Woodland Park?

**Well I did go, a great ride, traffic wasn't too bad, wasn't even very busy in Deckers. Once I got to Woodland Park it was a bit crazier-must've been some type of run as there were a ton of bikes in groups. A very eclectic group to say the least. So for lunch I went to Joanie's-had the hot pastrami sandwich, WOW! I also peeked in Alpine Guns and Ammo. There really wasn't much to look at though the exception was a very nice selection of Damascus steel knives. No guns that interested me. I also stopped in the pawn shop across 24 but again nothing that was special or interesting. Got caught in a light downpour between Deckers and Pine for about 2 minutes if that lol.

It was a bit cooler in WP and the ride until I hit Morrison on the way back. Thanks for all the suggestions, I really appreciate it. Next time I'll check out the places in Florissant.

Might be taking a motorcycle ride to Woodland Park on Saturday. Any gunshops worth stopping by? More interested in older stuff than the latest plastic fantastic.

Also looking for a good place for lunch. I usually stop for gas and keep going but this time it's the destination.

Hungry Bear is always a good place to eat. More known for its breakfast, but lunch is real good as well. Fiesta is another place we enjoy if you are in the mood for Mexican food.

Great, thanks! A lot will depend on what time I actually roll in as to where I'll eat. Not going to rush the ride, just take my time. Keep 'em coming.

There is a pawn shop on the east of town. Haven't stop in Woodland to eat but Divide has a nice Irish Pub and if you like usual beers check out Paradox up on the hill behind the pub.

Go a bit further to Florissant and have lunch at the Thunderbird (24 and CR1) Interesting dive bar with great burgers.
Across 24 from the Thunderbird is a good little gun shop.

If you go to Hungry Bear, don't go hungry cause you'll be starving by the time you get seated.....decent food though.

There used to be a great little Italian place at the intersection of Hwy 24 and CR-67 (or whatever it was that came from Deckers). It was in the little strip mall just behind the Wendy's. Info is a bit dated...maybe 5 or 6 years.

Serrano's has the best Mexican food in Woodland Park. Casa Grande is Casa Grande, and Fiesta Mexicana is overpriced and bland.
Grandmother's Kitchen has really good home-style cooking.
You may be tempted to stop at the BierWerks in Woodland Park because there will be a lot of bikers and people out front, but I do not recommend it - so-so beer and snacks - tourist trap.
McGinty's Irish Pub in Divide is good. Best pizza around. Guinness Gouda soup is awesome.
Paradox brewery in Divide is excellent.
