Yeah, wishful thinking for the right, just like all the talk about Trump's "impending impeachment" is wishful thinking for the left.
Ain't neither one gonna happen, no way, no day.
Saw some clickbait-y article the other day that said that the Senate was "6 votes away" from "impeaching" Trump.![]()
I wanted to go into the comments section and point out that the power of impeachment rests in the House of Representatives, but then I realized I just didn't care enough to do that. It is funny though.
I have a few lefty family members who are facebook friends and every now and then they post one of these "impeachment fantasy" articles. They're equal parts funny and sad.

If you love your freedom, thank a veteran. If you love to party, thank the Beastie Boys. They fought for that right.
I’m all for a Cal Exit if it means Trump will impose a tariff on all the crap coming out of the entertainment industry that they want to import.

When the government came to take our guns, they knocked on the door. After our guns were gone, they never bothered knocking again - Holocaust Survivor
Noticed recently that the top stars in the media are including in their interviews the question:
"Is this latest action of Mr. Trump enough for impeachment?"
It may no longer be a matter of if, but when. But, then Mr. Clinton taught us that impeachment is not the same as conviction.
Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

I put judicial activism under the umbrella of Liberalism. And it isn't surprising that said Liberals would elevate the state (collective) above the individual citizen exempting it as a sacred entity from our laws (and even reason at times).
Some people think Liberalism is gay marriage and abortion. It's been going on for a long time... The 16th and 17th Amendments were especially damaging.
Taxation > Central Bank > Inflation > Removal of state representation in the Senate = A massive all power Federal gov
Interesting that for Leftists, Clinton denying a citizen due process or a fair trial for political convenience was NOT a high crime or misdemeanor but Trump tweeting things they don't like, telling the truth about Antifa and BLM, or enforcing the law as written apparently is.
