I'll be honest, I haven't looked at a new Glock and thought "I should consider buying one of those" since the Gen 2 (hated the Gen 3 and yawned at the Gen 4) so I have to give Glock some credit.

Wonder if the Gen5 27 will be cool.

TFB are serious Glock fanboys. They could hardly hide their excitement over the P320 problem.

Glock has a good thing going. Kinda like iphones. It doesn't matter how little the next gen differs, people will line up to buy it. That's seriously good for business.

I'm not a Glock guy but I understand how good they are. I get it. The trouble for a company with that sort of quality is that it's not good for repeat business. They have to do something to get people to buy again. But if they changed it too much, or even came out with a completely different model, then their happy customers would revolt. So minor changes are all they can do to generate new sales and that's great spot for a business to get it.

I wasn't even aware there was a new gen glock coming.

Yep supposedly different finish, no finger grips, flared magwell and something different with the slide serrations I cant remember the other stuff. I'll admit after owning countless flocks that I'm a fan, it does what it's meant to do when it's meant to do it and not any other time (not cracking on the p320 because even XD's warn of the potential of firing when dropped). I would love to get another gen1 19, didn't like the 2nd or 3rd but the 4th was a nice fit so I'm interested in seeing how the 5th is.
