Where was the dog park located though? The few times I've been to dog parks, they were pretty well occupied by the "public" at the time. Just like if you would have shot a dog while at a regular park with a playground or something.

I want to say Horsetooth... but looking at Google maps, that seems too far south to my memory. This one was closer to Laporte, close to the Chapel Animal clinic (where we took Buddy, Dr. Soto was AMAZING) and had like a pool area for the dogs to jump in, some big boulders/trees, hiking trails outside of the fence up into the foothills... it was the nicest dog park I've ever been too. Was about 4 or 5 years ago.
Another what if:
Attended a movie last night, theater has No weapons signs, but it's small print and hard to find with all the other "stuff" around there.
Was watching the movie when a group of 10-12 teens came in, causing a scene, some lady told them to shut up. They didn't comply and she ended up moving seats.
This continued, another fellow got up (I got up too as his backup) and he let them have it. Shut up or it's over.
They didn't comply, he went and got the manger, and I kept an eye on the punks. Manager arrived and removed the whole gang. I pointed out a few others that separated from the group to escape being ejected.
Now, had this gone bad? If they Had a knife or other weapon, are they waiting for us outside? Needless to say, kept an eye on everything on the way back to the car...
Movie was "RED", and was pretty good.

I try not to give business to this theater, I go a couple times a year for a movie, but opt out other times during the year when the wife and kids go. Unfortunately I believe all the theaters in the area have similar signs or rules. It is a decent newer theater and I like to keep my money in the city I live. Others that are close are not in the city limits or too busy. It is what it is.
I accidently (ok, negligently) almost shot MYSELF, with a piece of shit Mitchell arms Luger copy that (unbenknownst to me) had a broken sear.
I chambered a round that I reloaded, in my basement, and with my finger OFF the trigger, it fired as soon as the bolt closed. Richocheted off the concrete wall and went right past my leg and into the couch.
After the intial shock, I got so mad at the gun, I took it in the garage and cut it into pieces with an acetelyne torch.
Thank god I was the only one home at the time, and I had the gun pointed in a safe direction.
I spent my Obama Stimulus money on a GUN!
I almost shot myself with a nail gun the other day. Who's idea was it to put a .5 lb trigger that is two fingers tall on what is essentially an automatic gun?

When did this thread go to shooting yourself and not someone else ?![]()
