I was walking home after getting a cup of coffee one morning and had to cut through an alley to get back to my apartment. A rather large person followed me and approached me about 20-30 yards into the alley. The guy got pretty close and said "give it up" and came at me. I reached back for the pistol in my belt. As soon as he saw what I was doing he ran away much faster than I'd expect a man his size could run. While I did get my hand on the grip he was gone before I even touched the pistol.
Doesn't count as a defensive gun use because you didn't kill him, according to the leftists who compile the data. In fact, they'd call it intimidation and want you charged with a crime.
Effing idiots.
