Plagarized from another site-but oh so perfect:
Dear ESPN:
We watch football so we don't have to listen to a woman talking for 3 hours. Son, I am disappoint.
Sincerely,
America

I watched the game on channel 20 last night, and it sounded like some local news guys calling the game. I'm glad I missed the mess you all are talking about; I don't like Monday night football since the ESPN move so I don't watch it.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

ESPN? Wha...? When did that happen? From some of the posts it sounds like things have moved around.
I gave up on the Doncos after '87 (Superbowl 21) and quit football after the embarrassment that was Superbowl 22. That brief brush with fame a few years back involving the Seahawks confirmed to me I did the right thing. I kind of act like I like to keep up.
This was EXACTLY my thought. I watched on 20 and thought it couldn't be the ESPN crew because it was SO bad. I thought it must be some C rated local crew.
ESPN clearly wanted it to be their show of equality night.
A female reporter who clearly knows her stuff but that is super dry and boring on top of her horrible voice. That job is ALL about the person's voice. It no different than radio. You MUST have a great voice for that job. She doesn't and I can't believe she got the job without that qualification. Especially on MNF.
And ESPN has many great female on-camera personalities that have great voices that I'd rather listen to even if they don't know every detail of every player like Beth does. I don't care where some left tackle lived with his grandma when he was playing football as a kid.
Then you have an ESPN Deportes sideline guy who acts like he's never been to a pro sports game before, hasn't ever been on camera live before and clearly didn't rehearse his on camera moment. He was amazingly un-qualified for the job. But, Deportes...so he got a huge job sooo many others are more qualified for.
ESPN was making a statement. No other way to explain that mess on MNF.
I guess it is normal to dislike local franchise when people move from different state.
I cannot imagine moving to Seattle suburb area and try to like Douchehawks.
I already grossed out by looking at the "12"and the logo last time I went there.
Three sentences in I told my wife "this chick's voice is super annoying." She has an uneasy tone & does this weird Christopher Walken cadence thing too. I was repeating her sentences in my best Walken imitation & my wife thought it was pretty funny. Then... Just when I thought it couldn't get any more annoying boom! Rex Ryan. Really? Did someone lose a bet with this casting or something?
I suddenly appreciated what my grandpa did when I was a child while watching the Huskers play. He would mute the TV & turn the AM radio on for the play by play all the way in the kitchen. At the time it seemed silly. I didn't understand why. After Monday night... I get it grandpa.
I'm not fat, I'm tactically padded.
