    Default cleaning lapua/nosler brass

So, i have a bunch of lapua brass that has been fired out of my bolt guns. I was wondering what you guys do for cleaning highend brass? I usually do about 3 firings, then toss them into the stainless steel media tumbler. Before the 3 firings, i usually just take a towel and wipe off the necks, and inspect the primer pockets. If the primer pockets need a bit of cleaning, then i use the primer pocket brush. Just wondering what everyone else does for lapua/nosler brass?

Out of a bolt gun, they are normally clean enough to just wipe them with a towel like you are doing. I do it with any brass coming out of the bolt guns, as the volume is typically not high so it only takes me a couple minutes to give them a quick wipe. When they get too dirty, I throw in the tumbler with walnut - what I do for my other cases.

i'm a snob, i guess...i like the inside being cleaned also...have you seen any issues with the carbon build up on the inside impacting accuracy?

Corncob every firing just to get and grit out. SS media every 5 or 6 cycles.

I know one guy who suspected carbon in the necks was causing pressure problems. He used SS media and the problem went away, iirc.
