Default SIG Sauer recall - SIG716 DMR®, SIG516® Carbon Fiber and SIGM400® Predator

    https://www.sigsauer.com/press-relea...recall-notice/

SIG Sauer has recalled SIG716 DMR®, SIG516® Carbon Fiber and SIGM400® Predator rifles because of a bad heat treat on hammers. A link in the release above goes to a more detailed page on identifying the recalled rifles.

Good info. Thanks for posting. I copied the thread and added it to the Announcements forum to hopefully get more visibility.

I bought the SIG Matchlite Duo two stage trigger to put in my 5.56 MCX a couple months ago. Last week I received an email that the hammers on a small batch weren't properly heat treated. Apparently mine may have been affected, so they emailed me a shipping label and I shipped back.

Hopefully SIG can get out of this funk of recalls.
