I was actually very surprised when I was in how many people were left leaning. But then you gotta remember, it's a decent pay check for not needing to do know a lot just being able to listen a lot. I know tons of people who stayed in because of the paycheck and health insurance even though they had no business being there.
The part that really pisses me off is that it appears as if his academy assigned mentor actually groomed him into this commie loving, American hating douche. Why would the Army employ an extremist who turns cadets into commies?

Being a commie should be automaticly disqualifying for someone in the position to defend our nation.
Truth is, the military is basically a Communist environment and does attract a lot of people who see it as a government jobs program and not "defenders of the nation".

Very interesting which lends all the more credence to the idea he is targeting a career elsewhere and just using the WP diploma to open doors. A number of officers were cashiered for openly disrespecting Presidents Clinton and Obama under Article 88 of the UCMJ. Apparently Rapone has openly disparaged SecDef Mattis. If he did so with open connection to his rank and active duty status, then I'd suggest an Art 88 court-martial for the lad -- while a LOM follows him through the Army, a UCMJ conviction will follow him through life.
