Some people clearly have far too much free time and don't know how to use their energy for something actually productive and truly helps humanity.

I don't agree with racism of any sort and believe it should end (human nature what it is assures me this will never be the case). If these rules were still in effect today I could see the outrage but they were repealed almost 70 years ago. We still have laws on the books for things that haven't happened in 100 years and will likely never happen again (It's illegal to fire a catapult at a building in Aspen..*). Should we waste our time searching out these laws and removing them, or simply move forward?

Typical liberal douchebaggery and ignorance. History isn't perfect; it's littered with all sorts of wrongs and atrocitities. But the thing is, you can't change history - it's written in stone. History, the past, doesn't change because you want it to; that's just lineral dreaming. All you can do is move forward with a better way of doing things than we did in the past. Simply erasing reminders of our past doesn't change things that occured in the past but it does remove the ability for us to look at those reminders and say "We can do better". One day, when these reminders no longer exist, people will question why such things are considered wrong and wonder why do things the way we do. I think it opens up the possibility of repeating those mistakes of the past.
