This may sound a little flip, but I kind of look at this as the same situation as a buddy of mine described. He said the hardest part of facing the zombie apocalypse after all the prepping he's done, would be keeping the huge smile off his face. When I see Antifa arming themselves and "training", I have to admit, a get the first hints of a grin...

Hmm, maybe without any morality they won't keep them just for self defense- if that was even their intention. The guns will come out when they get angry, just like the piss filled balloons. Then we all find out if they've really trained, since whomever they point them at will have their right to self defense.

I'll never support ill intentions that these groups may have. The ideas of antifa are ludicrous so far as I'm concerned. I do believe thought that they have the right to say and believe in what they want to. 1000 foot view for me is I'm okay with being armed in the name of defending what you believe, if it comes down to that. The scary part is that antifa doesn't seem to be defending at all, they're violently attacking. Best case I see this as the left starting to see that firearms are important and perhaps leaning towards supporting the second amendment. At worst these jackasses start shooting where they shouldn't. We'll probably see something in between and everyone will likely lose in the end.

Yeah. Most likely these asshats will pop a few rounds off here and there and the result will be more gun control. ETA: which they'd be OK with since it will disproportionately affect conservatives.

It'll be interesting, to say the least, to see what happens the first time a bunch of those fools whip out their gats at a protest rally.....guess we'll see what happens on 11/4.
