Best case I see this as the left starting to see that firearms are important and perhaps leaning towards supporting the second amendment. At worst these jackasses start shooting where they shouldn't. We'll probably see something in between and everyone will likely lose in the end.

Yeah. Most likely these asshats will pop a few rounds off here and there and the result will be more gun control. ETA: which they'd be OK with since it will disproportionately affect conservatives.
