    Default Wheel gun cleaning

I just got a hand-me-down stainless wheel gun, it was really dirty. Well I got cleaned up a little bit but What is a good cleaner to get the black rings off the front of the cylinder and there is some tuff crud inside the chambers too. I tried the walmart foaming cleaner and hoppe #9 with no luck. thanks

Flitz metal polish. Don't use it on a blued gun, but on stainless it works great.

I it has kind of burned black deposit, you may also want to use mechanical brush with metal polish :

Brass brush cleans pretty effectively but does not scratch stainless cylinder. Take few oversize (for example, .40 or .44 brush for .357 mag) bore brushes for chambers.

I used to clean my silhouette revolvers cylinder face with steel brush, but I do not necessarily recommend it...

Lead Remover Cloth. I'm sure it's lead on the cylinders. Good luck.
